Our Campaigns

Go Solar

活动目标:要求全国50个城市大力推广太阳能, including many here in Illinois, and to defend our local and state progress.
9 million homes

100 times more power than we need. We’re capturing a tiny percentage of it. Harnessing more of this power would mean cleaner air and a more stable climate; less strain on natural resources and more resilient communities; and an energy source we can depend on to be virtually pollution-free for as long as we can imagine.

So what’s slowing us down? What, if anything, can stop us?

In some places, we’re thinking too small, In other places, we’re thinking too narrowly, 将商业模式过时的老行业的短期利益置于我们的健康之前, environment and wellbeing.

Shining Cities

In 2016, just 20 U.S. cities

The cities that set higher goals, 确保房主获得公平的价格为他们的太阳能供应电网, make installing panels hassle-free, 并提供有吸引力的融资选择,比类似城市产生更多的太阳能.

这就是为什么我们的“光辉城市”项目正在敦促城市想得更大, act smarter, and tap the sun for more power.

Of course, every mayor wants her city to be the best,

Massachusetts and 10 other states and Atlanta, San Diego,

然而,总统和国会对太阳能的态度从敌对到冷漠, it’s more important than ever that we act locally on solar.

Stand up for solar

每一项伟大的技术进步都会颠覆一个或多个现有行业, and solar is no exception.

Unfortunately, others have been less forward-thinking.

We’re countering misinformation with facts, As in our Shining Cities project,

That's why we're calling on cities to go big on solar.
